Gather cleaning tools and keep them handy Think about the tools and solutions you might use for the cleaning. Instead of packing them in a box, put them together in pail. Consider borrowing vacuums, mops and window cleaners for a more efficient work. Wait till its empty On moving day, be sure to spare some time to clean after you have moved out all your stuff. It is easier to clean every nook and corner when there are no obstructions. Follow the top-to-bottom rule Begin cleaning high areas first - the ceiling, walls, appliances then the floor. There is no use to mopping the floor spotless if you will be brushing off the cobwebs and dust from the ceiling afterwards.
