Clean Your Windows Effectively
Published on Friday, 07 May 2010
Windows should always be kept clean. Cleaned windows will allow the sunlight to pass through them and give a sunny aura inside your home. It will also give you an advantage of seeing what is happening outside your house without actually opening your windows.
Here are some effective ways on how to clean and maintain stained-free windows:
Prepare your materials first. You will use a vacuum cleaner, washcloth, mild detergent, toothpaste, and window cleaning solution.
Use your vacuum cleaner to loosen dirt and cobwebs. It will also help in preventing streaks and smudges when you start washing your windows.
Remove your window screens or blinds. If your windows have screens, you need to remove them and wash them separately.
Wash your windows and use toothpaste to remove any smudges or streaks. You will save time in removing these if you use toothpaste.
Fine scratches can be removed by using a window cleaning solution. If the glass window can become transparently clean if you will use wet newspaper and try to paste it in your glass window. After pasting the newspaper with water, remove them and scrub the window using the wet newspaper in one direction. You will be surprised how a newspaper could make the glass transparently clean.
