Tips on Cleaning your Kitchen in Twickenham
Published on Thursday, 17 January 2013

The kitchen is probably your favorite room in your house in Twickenham. Here you can get together, cook and discuss the day while making a nice dinner or cupcakes for the party.  This room is of course the easiest one to get dirty or messy rather quick. Sometimes you don’t feel like doing the dishes so a huge pile of dirty plates takes over most of the surface. A clean and nice kitchen is worth gold and if you clean it little by little every week it will stay clean without you having to waste too much energy. First of all, make it a habit to clean after you after using the kitchen, do the dishes at once. It won’t take you that long. Wipe all work surfaces and clean the stove and microwave. Have a fresh washcloth, change or wash it frequently.

When it is time to clean more than just the dishes here follows some suggestions on how you can clean the rest of the kitchen in Twickenham, TW1. Wipe the sink with water and detergent. Do not use a scrub pad or steel wool as it will scratch the surface. Tabs and the area around them are simply cleaned with a dishwashing brush. Make sure you do this a couple of times a week. The stove is also easily dirty, especially when you have one of those old gas stoves or with stove plates that creates valleys between them. Use steel wool to remove the stains but do not use steel wool on the enamel, if you do that it becomes damaged. Clean with a scrub brush around the plates. Sometimes you can even clean behind the stove if it is removable.

When you are going to defrost the freezer, turn off the cold, use warm soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth to remove the ice. Put a sheet or a tub underneath to avoid flooding. When it is done, wipe I all dry to avoid freezing again when you turn on the freezer again. The fridge can also be turned off and the shelves can be taken out to get cleaned. When cleaning out the oven in your hom ein the TW2 region, detergent is usually enough to remove both grease and food residue in the oven. Tougher coatings need stronger cleaners. Follow the instructions for the stove or call a dealer if you are unsure. If you rent an apartment, you can probably also get advice from your landlord.

The kitchen fan and hood collect a lot of grease from cooking and gets rather unfresh after a while so to clean this one is also a must in Twickenham. Maybe not the nicest job, but it is necessary. They need to be cleaned frequently in order to function properly. Also here it is often enough with warm water and detergent. Many modern fans also have a grease filter that should be removed and cleaned about once a month if you use the kitchen daily. Clean by flushing warm water through the filter and also here, use detergent if it is very dirty.

If you want to go further with the kitchen cleaning you should wipe the cabinets both inside and out. Also on top of the shelves and do not forget the things that stands above the stove, they collect grease and dust. Wipe all the surfaces, including the tile on the wall behind which can also get a bit greasy. Don’t forget the microwave, water boiler and coffee maker with vinegar and water going through the filters. Vacuum and wipe the floor in your kitchen in the TW2. Do not forget to vacuum behind the fridge. Not only does the dust disappear, your electricity costs will also be lower.
